Career Navigator

The Career Navigator will serve as a member of our team operating three Financial Empowerment Centers (FEC)n in South Dallas. This position will help clients locate and access job skills training programs that lead to sustainable employment with a living wage and benefits. The Navigator will gain an in-depth knowledge of available training programs, develop working relationships with program leadership and will directly with clients to connect to, enroll and complete training programs.

This position will serve clients through FECs located in Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove and Redbird mall. Candidates should also be proficient with technology to perform virtual services and client meetings through a Zoom platform. Evening and weekend hours may be required for this position. Local travel is required. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Nurse Home Visitor / Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is one of the most successful, evidence- based social and health intervention programs in the country. The program enrolls and follows first-time, low-income families from early in pregnancy through the child’s second birthday and has proven to produce significant effects on maternal, child and life course outcomes. We serve at least 300 families annually, employing 12 Nurse Home Visitors and 2 supervisors. Each Home Visitor serves a minimum of 25 families. Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Dallas County is required. 

This position is temporarily remote, and candidate should be able to execute effective program delivery through virtual means. Proficiency with technology is essential during remote work and on- premises.
