WiNGS 2018 Mentors & Allies Awards Luncheon Welcomes Business Powerhouse Elaine Agather as Keynote Speaker

WiNGS, a nonprofit organization that provides women the tools and resources to become strong mothers, successful in the workplace and financially secure, will host the Mentors & Allies Awards Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Dallas on May 9, 2018. The annual event recognizes individuals and companies whose leadership and commitment positively impact women.

Elaine Agather, Chairman Dallas Region, JP Morgan Chase, will serve as Keynote Speaker. Dr. Emily Touchstone, teaching faculty member for Behavioral and Brain Sciences at UT Dallas, is the 2018 Event Chair. The 2018 Mentors & Allies Awards honorees include:

  • Salah Boukadoum, Founder of Impact City Initiative and Soap Hope. Boukadoum works to lift women, their families and communities out of poverty. His Soap Hope natural skin care company invests 100 percent of profits from sales to anti-poverty initiatives for women around the world.
  • Sunny Nunan, Founder & CEO of The Admin Awards. Nunan has a passion for servant leadership and mentoring women in the workplace. Recognizing that administrative professionals were long overdue for recognition of their numerous contributions to business, she founded The Admin Awards in 2012 to honor their invaluable work.
  • Mary Kay. The 2018 Corporate Award will go to Mary Kay for encouraging personal growth and financial fulfillment of women. For more than 54 years, Mary Kay has inspired women to achieve their entrepreneurial goals.

“When Mary Kay Ash created her company in 1963 with the mission to enrich women’s lives, she clearly understood the power of women mentoring women, and I know the work WiNGS does in the community embodies this same spirit,” said David Holl, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mary Kay, Inc. “I couldn’t be prouder to see both organizations aligning so beautifully to empower women, and I am extremely honored to receive this award on behalf of Mary Kay.”

Luncheon registration begins at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas located at 300 Reunion Boulevard. Individual tickets are available for $250; tables are $1,500 and sponsorships begin at $2,500.
